As both actor and children’s book author, Anita Daher has performed for audiences at both ends of the hourglass. From stage performances with the BS Comedy Players (musical political satire), Tara Players (theatre), and the Crosseyed Rascals Clean Improvised Comedy Troupe, as well as roles on television and in movies, she’s embraced every minute. Anita has written more than a dozen books for children and teens, and though not “attention different” herself (some would argue this), living in an ADHD dominated household has influenced the stories she writes, and the energy she brings to stage and screen.
Anita is currently working with Cam Patterson and his company, SoGo Productions, on getting her film script, Forgetting How to Breathe (adapted from her novel of the same name), into production.
Anita is a member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television, and Radio Artists (ACTRA).
